What is the highlight of your work as Foreman Maritime Installations?

In the role of Foreman, you supervise and carry out electrical assembly and installation work, mainly at the customer’s project location.

The installation work consists of installing maritime installations, such as control cabinets and switch and control panels. You lay cables and carry out connection and wiring activities, as well as all related work on site.

You are responsible for the maintenance of equipment and tools at the project location and you coordinate the activities.

You are the point of contact and source of information on site for the client and third parties. You also maintain close contact with suppliers and the Planning and Engineering departments for the execution of the project.

This is what you bring
  • Technical insight (mechanical engineering / installation engineering at MBO working and thinking level);

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in the maritime installation sector;

  • Knowledge of technical drawings;

  • Good command of the Dutch and English language;

  • VCA-VOL and forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain these;

  • Driving licence B;

Furthermore
  • You are flexible and willing to travel regularly within the Netherlands (and occasionally abroad);

  • You can work accurately with details and show initiative;

  • You are customer-oriented and solution-focused;

Our employment conditions
  • Depending on your experience, you will receive an attractive salary between € 3,500 and € 4,200 gross per month based on full-time employment. This will be discussed with you at an early stage;

  • We work under the Collective Labour Agreement for the Metal and Engineering Sector (CAO Metaal en Techniek);

  • 25 vacation days based on full-time employment;

  • 13 ADV days (reduction of working hours) based on full-time employment;

  • You will be enrolled in the Pension Fund for the Metal and Engineering Sector;

  • Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km;

  • Reimbursement of training costs through our training budget;

  • Discount on sports via Bedrijfsfitness Nederland;

  • Collective discounts, for example on your health insurance;

  • Study fund for your children as a contribution to their study costs.
