What is your challenge?

As a Service Coordinator, you are the linchpin between our customers and our breakdown and service engineers. It is a dynamic and varied position within a team of five colleagues, where you will jointly manage approximately 35 colleagues in the field. You will mainly work in the office and occasionally visit customers in the Netherlands or Belgium for work assessments or projects.

As a Service Coordinator, you are responsible for the correct and adequate execution and coordination of service, repair, and maintenance work.

Your daily tasks consist of taking requests, proactively advising customers on solutions. If the issue cannot be resolved over the phone, you ensure that one of our colleagues is scheduled to repair the fault.

You will also prepare quotations and send them to the customer. This involves some pre-engineering in the quotation calculations. You will ensure that all work is optimally prepared and arrange for the necessary materials.

You will provide the technicians with all the necessary (technical) information and offer them technical support so that they can assist the customer effectively.

What you bring to the table

• A completed relevant MBO level 4 education (preferably in Electrical Engineering)

• Experience in a similar planning or coordination role

• Experience in the maritime industry is an advantage

• You have good communication skills and are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written

• You have a good knowledge of Excel, Word, and Exact or a similar ERP system

• A VCA VOL certificate or the willingness to obtain one

Our terms of employment

• Depending on your experience, you will receive an attractive salary between €3,600 and €5,000 gross per month based on full-time employment. This will be discussed with you at an early stage.

• We work under the Metal and Technology Collective Labor Agreement.

• 25 vacation days for full-time employment.

• 13 ADV days for full-time employment.

• You will be registered with the Pension Fund for the Metal and Engineering Industry.

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km.
