What will be the highlight of your work as Lead Commissioning Engineer Yachting?

As Lead Commissioning Engineer Yachting, you will be ultimately responsible for testing, commissioning, and delivering maritime electrical systems. You will lead commissioning projects for power management systems, switchboards, automation, and control technology within international shipbuilding projects. Your responsibilities: Leading commissioning teams on site Testing and commissioning electrical installations Developing test procedures and reports Maintaining contact with clients and classification societies Delivering systems according to specifications.

What do you bring to the table?
  • A completed degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience with commissioning in yacht building
  • Experience with power management, PLC, and control technology VCA VOL and NEN 3140 certifications
  • Preferably, you reside in the Amsterdam/Aalsmeer region
  • You are willing to travel, including for projects abroad
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Our employment conditions
  • Depending on your experience, you'll receive an attractive salary between €4,500 and €5,500 gross per month based on a full-time contract. This will be discussed with you from an early stage;
  • We work under the Collective Labor Agreement for the Metal and Technology Industry;
  • 25 vacation days for full-time employment;
  • 13 ADV days for full-time employment;
  • You will be registered with the Pension Fund for the Metal and Technology Industry;
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km;
