
Hardware Engineer
This is what you will do as a Hardware Engineer
As a Hardware Engineer, you design maritime, electrical installations according to the hardware specifications and wishes of the client. In addition to designing switchboards, distribution panels and control desks, your work also consists of designing systems such as fire alarm, intercom and CCTV installations. You switch effortlessly between your colleagues from panel building and the field service. You are functionally managed by the Lead Engineer and the Technical Manager is your supervisor. The Engineering department consists of 20 colleagues.
This is what you bring with you
- A completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics;
- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience; Experience with designing electrical (ship) installations;
- Experience with professional software such as AutoCAD and SEE Electrical (or E-Plan) or you are willing to learn this;
- You can read drawings and diagrams;
- Some knowledge of regulations and legislation, such as Bureau Veritas, Lloyds and CCS;
- Knowledge of the English language in speech and writing;
- Knowledge of the Dutch language, or you are willing to learn this;
- Practical and solution-oriented;
- A good team player;
- Motivated to be able to deliver good work independently, and ask for help when necessary;

Our employment conditions
- Depending on your experience, you will receive an attractive salary between €3,200 and €3,900 gross per month based on a full-time employment contract. This will be discussed with you at an early stage;
- We work under the collective labor agreement for Metal and Technology;
- 25 vacation days for a full-time employment contract;
- 13 ADV days for a full-time employment contract; You will be registered with the Pension Fund for Metal and Technology;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km;
- A company laptop and mobile phone;
